Medina (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A Florida man died Friday in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 55 in Medina.<\/p>\n

George Michael Ehman, 68, of Cape Coral, Florida, was killed in the October 3 crash.<\/p>\n

Two people from Plymouth suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

The crash happened around 10:11 a.m. near County Road 116 in Hennepin County.<\/p>\n

Vehicles Collide On Highway 55<\/h2>\n

According to the crash report, a 2006 Mercedes was traveling west on Highway 55.<\/p>\n

A 2015 Ford F-150 was making a left turn from southbound to eastbound.<\/p>\n

The vehicles collided just west of County Road 116.<\/p>\n

Ehman was driving the Ford pickup.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n

Ehman suffered fatal injuries and died following the crash.<\/p>\n

The report states that the roadway was dry at the time.<\/p>\n

Two People Injured In Mercedes<\/h2>\n

Randall Thomas Lofgren, 75, of Plymouth, was driving the Mercedes.<\/p>\n

Lofgren suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n

He was transported to North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale.<\/p>\n

A passenger, Anthony Deandre Clarke, 29, of Plymouth, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Clarke was taken to North Memorial Health for treatment.<\/p>\n

Both Lofgren and Clarke were wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.<\/p>\n

Airbags deployed in both vehicles.<\/p>\n

Alcohol Not Suspected<\/h2>\n

Authorities reported that alcohol was not suspected for either driver.<\/p>\n

The crash report specifically noted that an unbelted occupant was involved in the fatal crash.<\/p>\n

Several agencies responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

They included police from Medina, Plymouth, and Corcoran.<\/p>\n

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Medina Fire Department also responded.<\/p>\n

North Memorial personnel and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner assisted.<\/p>\n

The crash remained listed as a fatal incident in the latest information provided.<\/p>\n
