The defendant is Leann M. Moore<\/strong> of Grand Forks. Records say she is charged with a felony in the prevention of arrest.<\/p>\n

Warrants and surveillance<\/h2>\n

Court documents say officers watched Moore\u2019s home on December 23. The address listed was 1408 University Avenue in Grand Forks.<\/p>\n

Documents say Moore had multiple felony warrants at the time. An officer wrote that Moore had been arrested before.<\/p>\n

The officer also wrote that Moore often used illegal drugs before arrests. Based on that, the officer requested a body-only search warrant.<\/p>\n

That warrant covered Moore\u2019s person. Court documents say a judge approved the warrant.<\/p>\n

Officers went to the home with the signed warrant. Documents say they knocked and then entered the residence.<\/p>\n

Officers searched upstairs. Court documents say they found Moore hiding in a bedroom closet.<\/p>\n

Documents say Moore came out of the closet. An officer ordered her to put her hands behind her back.<\/p>\n

Court documents say Moore resisted right away. They say she pulled her arms forward with force.<\/p>\n

Documents say she continued to resist for a short time. Officers then placed her in handcuffs, according to the filing.<\/p>\n
