UPDATE 9\/29\/2026: An August 1 hit-and-run injury crash has been solved thanks to an anonymous tip from the public.<\/p>\n

Investigators located and identified the vehicle involved in the crash. The driver, a 58-year-old Minot man, was charged with Duty in Accident Involving Injury, class A misdemeanor; Failure to Give Immediate Notice of Accident, $50; Failure to Yield Right of Way, $40; and Driving Without Liability Insurance, $150.<\/p>\n

A passenger in the vehicle, a 58-year-old Minot woman, was charged with Hindering Law Enforcement\/Providing False Information, class A misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

The ND State Patrol thanks the public for their assistance. Information from the public can make a difference and, in this case, helped investigators identify the vehicle and those involved.<\/p>\n

**PLEASE SHARE** The North Dakota State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run injury crash that occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 83 Bypass and 30th Avenue NW in Minot.<\/p>\n

Based on witness statements and vehicle parts recovered at the scene, the suspect vehicle is believed to be a white 1997 to 2003 Ford F-150 Crew Cab.<\/p>\n

The suspect vehicle is expected to have damage to the front driver\u2019s-side area with a broken headlamp. There may also be blue paint transfer from the other vehicle involved in the crash.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on 30th Avenue NW from the Highway 83 Bypass.<\/p>\n
