Police Say Driver Fled<\/h2>\n
According to the complaint, police were searching for Moberg because of active warrants.<\/p>\n
Investigators knew Moberg was associated with a black 2012 Lincoln MKZ.<\/p>\n
Police later saw the vehicle near an address linked to Moberg.<\/p>\n
An officer identified Moberg sitting in the driver’s seat, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
A marked squad vehicle then approached and activated its emergency lights.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors say Moberg looked toward the squad vehicle before driving away.<\/p>\n
The complaint says he drove around the squad vehicle while trying to leave the area.<\/p>\n
Pursuit Reached High Speeds<\/h2>\n
Police began pursuing Moberg through Moorhead, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
The vehicle allegedly reached speeds between 70 and 80 miles per hour.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors say Moberg drove through several intersections at high speed.<\/p>\n
He also allegedly failed to obey stop signs and yield signs.<\/p>\n
The pursuing officer later ended the chase because of concerns about public safety.<\/p>\n
The complaint does not report a crash during the pursuit.<\/p>\n
Felony Fleeing Charge<\/h2>\n
Count One charges Moberg with felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n
