Baxter Man Faces Felony Meth Charge After Store Theft<\/h2>\n

Police searched Hatchard following the arrest, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

The complaint says an officer found a plastic baggie inside Hatchard’s pocket.<\/p>\n

The baggie allegedly contained about 5.2 grams of a suspected controlled substance.<\/p>\n

Authorities conducted a field test on the substance.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the test returned a positive result for methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

Methamphetamine is listed as a Schedule II controlled substance under Minnesota law.<\/p>\n
