The pursuit continued north toward Mandan, where spike strips were successfully deployed. As the vehicle continued toward the city, a Mandan Police Department officer assisted in slowing the pursuit, and a trooper performed a (pursuit intervention technique) PIT maneuver to bring the vehicle to a stop before it entered Mandan. The driver was taken into custody without further incident. The Morton County Sheriff\u2019s Office is handling charges related to the pursuit in North Dakota.
