Pedestrians Describe Being Struck<\/h2>\n
Police were called around 5:38 p.m. to an apartment complex after an injury crash.<\/p>\n
One man told investigators he was standing on a sidewalk outside his apartment.<\/p>\n
He reportedly saw a gray sedan enter the parking lot at a high rate of speed.<\/p>\n
The vehicle left before returning moments later, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n
The man said the sedan then drove directly toward him.<\/p>\n
He told investigators he later woke up inside an ambulance.<\/p>\n
Court records describe a brain bleed, facial fracture, eye swelling and other injuries.<\/p>\n
The man also suffered a facial cut that required stitches.<\/p>\n
Woman Says Car Drove Toward Her<\/h2>\n
About a block away, a woman was walking her dog when she saw the same vehicle.<\/p>\n
She said the car crossed a street, drove over a curb and traveled through grass.<\/p>\n
The woman tried to run before the vehicle struck her, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
She suffered a broken leg and significant bruising.<\/p>\n
A second woman reportedly saw the first woman get struck.<\/p>\n
She told investigators the vehicle then turned toward her.<\/p>\n
The woman ran before the car struck a tree.<\/p>\n
Affidavit Details Arrest<\/h2>\n
Court documents say a bystander held Schneeweis at gunpoint after the crash.<\/p>\n
Schneeweis then ran through a nearby field, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n
Officers later caught him a few blocks from the scene.<\/p>\n
The affidavit says he briefly resisted before being handcuffed.<\/p>\n
Schneeweis was taken to a hospital before investigators interviewed him.<\/p>\n
Drug Use and Statements Described<\/h2>\n
The affidavit says Schneeweis admitted using methamphetamine earlier that day.<\/p>\n
He also told investigators he heard voices through a radio.<\/p>\n
According to the affidavit, he said those voices instructed him to run people over.<\/p>\n
He reportedly told investigators he struck people with his vehicle after hearing those instructions.<\/p>\n

The documents also say the vehicle struck an apartment building entrance.<\/p>\n
Fire officials later determined the entrance was structurally unsafe.<\/p>\n
