Customer Trespassed From Grocery Store<\/h2>\n
On September 19, management at Brent\u2019s Food Pride reported problems with a customer.<\/p>\n
Store officials said the person had been bothering employees.<\/p>\n
A deputy responded and trespassed the customer from the property.<\/p>\n
The issue was resolved without further reported problems.<\/p>\n
That same morning, Thomas David Straabe, 22, of Gully, was cited for speeding.<\/p>\n
The stop happened on County Road 7 west of Highway 92.<\/p>\n
Oklee Man Arrested After Domestic Assault Report<\/h2>\n
Deputies responded to a disturbance at an Oklee apartment later September 19.<\/p>\n
Investigators allege Ryan Adams Griffith, 44, of Oklee, assaulted his teenage daughter.<\/p>\n
Griffith was arrested and taken to the jail in Crookston.<\/p>\n
He was booked on a misdemeanor domestic assault allegation.<\/p>\n
Fosston Ambulance transported the juvenile to an Essentia emergency room.<\/p>\n
Authorities described her injuries as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n
Griffith appeared in court September 21.<\/p>\n
He was released under court-ordered conditions, including no contact with the alleged victim.<\/p>\n
His next appearance was scheduled for October 23 in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n
Warrant Arrest Leads to Transfer<\/h2>\n
Also September 19, authorities reported the arrest of Deanthony Maurice Gonzalez, 27, of Red Lake.<\/p>\n
Red Lake County had an active gross misdemeanor warrant for Gonzalez.<\/p>\n
A deputy transported him from Bemidji to the Crookston jail on September 20.<\/p>\n
Gonzalez appeared in court the next day.<\/p>\n
He was released September 22 to another jurisdiction holding a warrant.<\/p>\n
His next Red Lake County court appearance was scheduled for December 4.<\/p>\n
Horse Missing, Speeding Citation Issued<\/h2>\n
On September 21, a Louisville Township resident reported a missing black horse.<\/p>\n
The horse had escaped its enclosure and remained missing when the report was issued.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information can contact the Red Lake County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n On September 22, Steven Craig Westlund, 54, of Thief River Falls, was cited for speeding.<\/p>\n The stop happened on Third Street Southwest in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n Later that evening, a deputy assisted other agencies with a stolen vehicle pursuit.<\/p>\n The vehicle had traveled north on Highway 59 from the Detroit Lakes area.<\/p>\n The pursuit ended after the vehicle crashed in Pennington County.<\/p>\n Authorities said the suspect was apprehended.<\/p>\n Additional court information is available through the Minnesota Judicial Branch<\/a>.<\/p>\n Charges and citations are accusations unless resolved in court.<\/p>\n I’m Adrian Cole reporting for TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\nDeputy Assists in Stolen Vehicle Pursuit<\/h2>\n
