Thief River Falls Driver Arrested After DWI Crash<\/h2>\n

Thief River Falls<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Thief River Falls man was arrested after a crash involving a parked Corvette.<\/p>\n

The crash was reported around 8:43 p.m. on September 15.<\/p>\n

It happened in the 200 block of LaBree Avenue North.<\/p>\n

Hunter Adam Audette of Thief River Falls was driving a Ford Fusion.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Audette was traveling south on LaBree Avenue North.<\/p>\n

His vehicle then struck a parked 1988 Chevrolet Corvette.<\/p>\n

The Corvette was owned by Clifford Hill of Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

No known injuries were reported in the crash.<\/p>\n

Driver Arrested on DWI Citation<\/h2>\n

Audette was arrested and cited for fourth-degree driving while impaired.<\/p>\n

The citation said Audette initially reported drinking two beers.<\/p>\n

The officer reported observing possible signs of impairment.<\/p>\n

Audette then performed field sobriety tests.<\/p>\n

According to the citation, he failed some of those tests.<\/p>\n

A preliminary breath test reportedly showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.079.<\/p>\n

Later Test Reportedly Shows 0.09 BAC<\/h2>\n

Police questioned Audette again about how much alcohol he had consumed.<\/p>\n

He then allegedly said he had consumed four drinks.<\/p>\n

A later DMT breath test reportedly showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.09.<\/p>\n

Minnesota’s general legal limit for most adult drivers is 0.08.<\/p>\n

No Injuries Reported<\/h2>\n

The police report did not list any injuries from the collision.<\/p>\n
