Laona Township Rollover Injures Roosevelt Woman<\/h2>\n

Laona Township<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Roosevelt woman was injured Thursday after her SUV left Highway 11 and rolled.<\/p>\n

The crash happened around 5:08 p.m. on September 24, 2026.<\/p>\n

It occurred near 68238 Highway 11 in Laona Township, Roseau County.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2006 Honda CR-V was traveling east on Highway 11.<\/p>\n

The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.<\/p>\n

Driver Taken to Hospital<\/h2>\n

The driver was identified as Georgia Sue Hammer, 69, of Roosevelt, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Hammer suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n

She was taken to LifeCare Medical Center for treatment.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol reported that Hammer was wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n

The Honda\u2019s airbags also deployed during the crash.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the incident.<\/p>\n

Wet Road Reported<\/h2>\n

The roadway was wet when the rollover happened, according to the crash report.<\/p>\n

No other vehicles were listed as being involved.<\/p>\n

The report classified the incident as an injury crash.<\/p>\n

The exact reason the Honda left the roadway was not provided.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol said the available information was believed to be complete.<\/p>\n

Several Agencies Responded<\/h2>\n

Warroad Fire Department crews responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

The Roseau County Sheriff\u2019s Office also assisted.<\/p>\n

Warroad Police and Warroad EMS were among the responding agencies.<\/p>\n

The crash was handled through the Minnesota State Patrol\u2019s Thief River Falls district.<\/p>\n
