Willmar Park Shooting Leaves Two Dead, One Critical<\/h2>\n

Willmar<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Police have identified two men killed in a shooting at Rau Park in Willmar.<\/p>\n

A third man remains hospitalized in critical condition following the Monday night shooting.<\/p>\n

Police identified the men who died as Alexis Antonio Quintanilla Deras, 19, of Willmar, and Yasir Diriye Kahin, 20, of Willmar.<\/p>\n

Guled Fahran Abdi, 19, was critically injured in the shooting.<\/p>\n

Abdi previously lived in Willmar and now lives in Bloomington.<\/p>\n

Police said he remains hospitalized in St. Cloud.<\/p>\n

Shooting Reported at Rau Park<\/h2>\n

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Monday, September 21.<\/p>\n

It occurred at Rau Park in the 1000 block of 7th Street Northwest.<\/p>\n

The Willmar Police Department<\/a> previously described the shooting as an isolated incident.<\/p>\n

Investigators do not believe the shooting was random.<\/p>\n

Police also said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n

The department acknowledged that gunfire in a public park can cause fear among nearby residents.<\/p>\n

Police described the incident as a serious act of gun violence affecting the community.<\/p>\n

Detectives Continue Investigation<\/h2>\n

Detectives are working to determine what happened before the shooting.<\/p>\n

They are also reviewing the actions of each person involved.<\/p>\n

Investigators want to know whether anyone else played a role in the incident.<\/p>\n

Police are asking witnesses to come forward with any information.<\/p>\n

Officials said even small details could help investigators understand what happened.<\/p>\n
