Three Men Face Felony Charges<\/h2>\n
Williams faces four felony charges, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
They include conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to deliver.<\/p>\n
He also faces possession with intent to deliver cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana.<\/p>\n
The cocaine conspiracy and possession charges are Class A felonies.<\/p>\n
The fentanyl charge is a Class B felony.<\/p>\n
The marijuana charge is a Class C felony.<\/p>\n
Patterson and Matthews each face three felony charges.<\/p>\n
Both are charged with conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.<\/p>\n
They also face Class C felony evidence tampering charges.<\/p>\n
North Dakota Class A felonies can carry prison sentences of up to 20 years.<\/p>\n
Vehicle Stopped on Interstate 29<\/h2>\n
Investigators executed search warrants on a vehicle and a Grand Forks residence Saturday.<\/p>\n
The operation involved several local and federal law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n
Court records say investigators watched a black Chevrolet Tahoe traveling on Interstate 29.<\/p>\n
Authorities initiated a traffic stop near mile marker 122.<\/p>\n
The Tahoe continued along the shoulder before stopping near mile marker 123.<\/p>\n
Williams was detained and informed about the vehicle search warrant.<\/p>\n
Investigators allegedly found 53 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n
They also reported finding 1.45 grams of fentanyl and $913.<\/p>\n
Search Conducted at Grand Forks Home<\/h2>\n
At the same time, authorities searched a residence in the 600 block of North Fifth Street.<\/p>\n
Patterson and Matthews were found inside, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
Investigators reported finding about 241.3 grams of suspected cocaine.<\/p>\n
Packages were allegedly discovered inside a toilet and refrigerator.<\/p>\n
Authorities also reported finding $13,620, digital scales, and designer plastic bags.<\/p>\n
The substance tested presumptively positive for cocaine, court records state.<\/p>\n
Patterson and Matthews later denied knowing about the drugs, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
Preliminary Hearings Scheduled<\/h2>\n
The three defendants remain in custody while their cases move through court.<\/p>\n
Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for 9 a.m. November 2.<\/p>\n
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.<\/p>\n
Each defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.<\/p>\n
