Leslie Manford Anderson was taken into custody Sunday, September 20.<\/p>\n

Anderson was later booked at the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston.<\/p>\n

Jail information lists a first-degree murder charge involving intent while committing a felony.<\/p>\n

The listed Minnesota statute is 609.185(a)(3).<\/p>\n

Shooting Reported Early Sunday<\/h2>\n

Authorities received a shooting report at about 2:48 a.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened at 32300 110th Avenue Southeast in rural Mentor.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews found 55-year-old Shawn Alan Qualley injured at the scene.<\/p>\n

Qualley was taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital<\/a> in Grand Forks.<\/p>\n

Authorities have not released detailed information about Qualley’s injuries.<\/p>\n

Anderson was taken into custody without incident following the shooting.<\/p>\n

He was transported to the Northwest Regional Corrections Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n
