North Township Highway 32 Crash Turns Fatal<\/h2>\n

North Township, Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 was reported as fatal Sunday evening.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 5:55 p.m. on September 20, 2026.<\/p>\n

It occurred south of 183rd Street Northeast in North Township.<\/p>\n

The location is in Pennington County, south of the Thief River Falls area.<\/p>\n

Two Vehicles Collide on Highway 32<\/h2>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol<\/a>, two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.<\/p>\n

A 2022 Buick Envision was traveling north on Highway 32.<\/p>\n

A 2016 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling south on the highway.<\/p>\n

The two vehicles collided near 183rd Street Northeast.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol classified the incident as a fatal crash.<\/p>\n

The report did not identify which vehicle occupant died.<\/p>\n

It also did not provide additional information about injuries.<\/p>\n

Drivers From Red Lake Falls and Newfolden<\/h2>\n

The Buick was driven by a 31-year-old woman from Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet was driven by a 68-year-old woman from Newfolden.<\/p>\n

The drivers’ names had not been released in the latest crash report.<\/p>\n

The report said the Buick driver’s information would be released at noon Monday.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet driver’s information was scheduled for release at 5 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

Airbag deployment information was listed as unknown for both vehicles.<\/p>\n

Road Was Dry at Time of Crash<\/h2>\n

Authorities reported that the road was dry when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

Several emergency agencies responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

They included Pennington County deputies, Thief River Falls police and firefighters, and Sanford Ambulance.<\/p>\n

The crash report was last updated at 12:33 a.m. on September 21.<\/p>\n

Motorists can check current highway conditions through Minnesota 511<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Additional information may be released after authorities notify family members.<\/p>\n
