Logan County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Two men were killed in a head-on crash involving two semi-trucks on Highway 30 in Logan County on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 8:34 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2025. It was near mile marker 22. That is about three miles south of Streeter.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a 2026 International truck pulling a semi-trailer was traveling northbound on Highway 30. A 2025 Kenworth truck pulling double semi-trailers was traveling southbound.<\/p>\n

The two trucks collided head-on. Both drivers died at the scene.<\/p>\n

The driver of the International was a 39-year-old man from Moorhead, Minnesota. The driver of the Kenworth was a 54-year-old man from Wishek, North Dakota.<\/p>\n

A passenger in the International was also hurt. The passenger was a 41-year-old man from East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Troopers said he suffered serious injuries.<\/p>\n

He was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.<\/p>\n

Road closure and response<\/h2>\n

Authorities said road and weather conditions were dry at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n

Highway 30 was closed with a detour for about six hours.<\/p>\n

Several agencies responded. They included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Logan County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and the Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Other crews assisted. They included the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Medina Rescue, Streeter Fire, Gackle Ambulance, and Gackle Fire.<\/p>\n

Sanford AirMed also responded.<\/p>\n

Investigation continues<\/h2>\n

The Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

Drivers should watch for updates and use care in that area. Traffic impacts can continue after major crashes.<\/p>\n
