Amboy Township Crash Injures Rochester Pair<\/h2>\n

Amboy Township (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 Two Rochester residents were injured Thursday in a crash on Highway 30.<\/p>\n

The collision happened at about 10:07 a.m. on September 17, 2026.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred near Highway 30 and 430th Avenue in Cottonwood County.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol<\/a>, two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.<\/p>\n

A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on Highway 30.<\/p>\n

A 2009 Toyota Camry was traveling east on the same highway.<\/p>\n

The two vehicles collided near the intersection with 430th Avenue.<\/p>\n

Two Rochester Residents Injured<\/h2>\n

Andrew Zwierzchowski, 79, of Rochester, was driving the Toyota Camry.<\/p>\n

He suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Zwierzchowski was taken to Westbrook Hospital for medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Margaret Ruszczyk, 75, of Rochester, was a passenger in the Toyota.<\/p>\n

She also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Ruszczyk was taken to Westbrook Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

The Toyota’s airbags deployed during the crash.<\/p>\n

Both occupants were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol report.<\/p>\n

Pickup Occupants Reported Uninjured<\/h2>\n

Graycen Lee Hansen, 19, of Windom, was driving the Chevrolet Silverado.<\/p>\n

Hansen was not injured in the collision.<\/p>\n

Avrom Jacob Buller, 21, of Mountain Lake, was riding in the pickup.<\/p>\n

Buller also was not injured.<\/p>\n

Both men were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

The Silverado’s airbags did not deploy.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was not suspected for anyone listed in the crash report.<\/p>\n

Emergency Crews Respond<\/h2>\n

The road was dry when the vehicles collided.<\/p>\n

The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n

Westbrook Fire and Jeffers Fire also responded to the crash.<\/p>\n

The State Patrol listed the incident under case number 26301765.<\/p>\n

Officials marked the report as complete at 1:50 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n

The report does not explain what caused the vehicles to collide.<\/p>\n

No additional injuries were listed in the State Patrol report.<\/p>\n
