Fargo Trio Charged in Armed Apartment Robbery<\/h2>\n

Police say several armed men forced their way into an apartment on September 11.<\/p>\n

Erick Scott, Gregory Rogers-McKinney and Kennedy Dolo were later arrested in connection with the case.<\/p>\n

Each man faces five felony charges in Cass County District Court.<\/p>\n

One man said he opened the door and immediately had a firearm pointed at him.<\/p>\n

The suspects then allegedly pushed inside and ordered both men onto the ground.<\/p>\n

Police say cash was taken from one man’s pockets.<\/p>\n

The second man was allegedly held against a wall with a gun behind his head.<\/p>\n

Investigators say the suspects took a 9mm rifle from the apartment.<\/p>\n

The rifle was reportedly equipped with an optic and laser sight.<\/p>\n

A cellphone and additional cash were also reported stolen.<\/p>\n

Police estimate the incident lasted about 10 to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

Witness Reports Suspects Fled in SUV<\/h2>\n

A family member reportedly heard the disturbance and entered the area.<\/p>\n

She told police she saw one suspect standing over a man with the stolen rifle.<\/p>\n

She reportedly tried to grab the suspect as he fled but could not stop him.<\/p>\n

Witnesses said the group entered a gray SUV and left the area.<\/p>\n

Surveillance Helps Lead Police to Suspects<\/h2>\n

Investigators reviewed nearby surveillance video and license plate reader information.<\/p>\n

Police say the investigation identified a gray SUV registered to Dolo.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was located several days later.<\/p>\n

Police conducted a high-risk traffic stop and detained the three men.<\/p>\n

Investigators later interviewed Scott, Rogers-McKinney and Dolo.<\/p>\n

All three were arrested and booked on felony charges.<\/p>\n

Police also investigated a possible connection to an earlier reported robbery.<\/p>\n

The two men said that incident happened four days before the apartment robbery.<\/p>\n

Investigators say the parties had continued communicating through social media afterward.<\/p>\n
