According to the criminal complaint, deputies responded to a Tomten Road residence around 2:24 a.m. August 29.<\/p>\n
A woman told investigators she had been arguing with Larson, who was her boyfriend.<\/p>\n
She alleged Larson pushed her from three stairs on a deck.<\/p>\n
The woman fell to the ground and scraped her knee, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
Deputies reported seeing redness and an injury on her knee.<\/p>\n
The woman said both people had consumed alcohol before the argument.<\/p>\n
She also told investigators she became frightened during the incident.<\/p>\n
Complaint Alleges 911 Call Was Interrupted<\/h2>\n
The woman attempted to call 911 after the alleged assault, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
She said Larson wrestled the phone away from her.<\/p>\n
The complaint says that action disconnected the emergency call.<\/p>\n
Larson then left the residence on foot, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
Authorities searched the surrounding area using several resources.<\/p>\n
The search included a police canine and a drone, but Larson was not initially found.<\/p>\n
The complaint also references earlier domestic incidents reported by the woman.<\/p>\n
Those allegations include a previous incident involving a firearm.<\/p>\n
Larson Taken Into Custody<\/h2>\n
Deputies returned to the residence around 10 a.m. later that day.<\/p>\n
A family member told them Larson was inside the home.<\/p>\n
Larson told investigators he had acted in self-defense, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
He then requested an attorney before making further statements.<\/p>\n
Larson was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n
The complaint states Larson has a 2023 second-degree assault conviction involving a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n
