Red Wing Crash Kills 71-Year-Old Driver<\/h2>\n

Red Wing (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A 71-year-old Red Wing man died Sunday after a crash along Highway 61.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 2:19 p.m. on September 14, 2026.<\/p>\n

It occurred near milepost 89 in Red Wing, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Michael Thomas Murphy, 71, of Red Wing, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban.<\/p>\n

The Suburban was on Seventh Street before the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

Murphy was attempting to turn north onto Highway 61, according to the crash report.<\/p>\n

The vehicle then entered the median and continued through a guardrail.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet rolled onto its side before coming to a stop.<\/p>\n

Driver Dies In Crash<\/h2>\n

Murphy suffered fatal injuries in the crash.<\/p>\n
