Wasioja Township Rollover Injures Austin Man<\/h2>\n

Wasioja Township (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 An Austin man was injured Monday after his pickup rolled off Highway 56 in Dodge County.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 1:43 p.m. on September 14, 2026. It occurred near milepost 60 in Wasioja Township.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol said a 2008 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Highway 56. The pickup then lost control on the wet roadway.<\/p>\n

The truck left the highway and entered the east ditch. It then rolled before coming to a stop.<\/p>\n

Driver Taken To Rochester Hospital<\/h2>\n

Douglas Allen Adamson, 69, of Austin, was driving the Ford F-150.<\/p>\n

Adamson suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening. Emergency crews transported him to St. Mary’s in Rochester for treatment.<\/p>\n

The crash report said Adamson was wearing a seat belt. The pickup’s airbags did not deploy during the crash.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Wet Road Reported<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol listed the road surface as wet when the crash happened.<\/p>\n

Drivers should reduce speed during rain and allow more distance between vehicles. Wet roads can reduce traction and increase stopping distance.<\/p>\n

Motorists can check current road conditions through Minnesota 511<\/a> before traveling.<\/p>\n

They can also review public crash information through the Minnesota State Patrol<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emergency Crews Respond<\/h2>\n

Dodge Center Fire Department and Dodge Center Ambulance responded to the scene. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.<\/p>\n

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash. No other occupants were listed in the State Patrol report.<\/p>\n

The incident was classified as an injury crash. The State Patrol marked the available information as complete Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The crash was assigned incident number 26103883. Case information is available through the Rochester district at 507-923-2040.<\/p>\n

The crash remains another reminder that wet pavement can quickly affect vehicle control. Drivers are urged to use extra care during changing weather.<\/p>\n
