Two popular Santa trackers can help on Christmas Eve. One is run by NORAD. The other is run by Google.<\/p>\n

NORAD Tracks Santa<\/h2>\n

NORAD is a joint U.S. and Canadian defense command. It runs the annual \u201cNORAD Tracks Santa\u201d tradition.<\/p>\n

You can follow the map and updates at
\nnoradsanta.org<\/a>.
\nThe tracker is for fun. It uses a holiday story version of NORAD\u2019s real tools.<\/p>\n

You can also call the NORAD hotline on Christmas Eve. Dial\u00a01-877-HI-NORAD (1-877-446-6723)<\/a>.
\nVolunteers share Santa\u2019s last known location during the event.<\/p>\n

NORAD says it cannot predict Santa\u2019s exact route in advance. Only Santa knows that.<\/p>\n

Google Santa Tracker<\/h2>\n

Google also runs a Santa tracker at\u00a0santatracker.google.com<\/a>.
\nIt includes games and learning activities throughout December.<\/p>\n

On Christmas Eve, Google\u2019s tracker shows Santa\u2019s trip across time zones. Google says the full journey lasts about 25 hours.<\/p>\n

Why families use trackers<\/h2>\n

For many families, the trackers add holiday magic. They also give kids a reason to get to bed.<\/p>\n

Parents often say Santa visits after children fall asleep. The trackers help kids feel ready.<\/p>\n
