Deputies first handled a landlord and tenant dispute during the afternoon of September 4.<\/p>\n
The dispute happened in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement helped mediate the disagreement.<\/p>\n
No criminal charges were reported from that incident.<\/p>\n
Later that afternoon, Sean Bradley Hicks, 41, of Red Lake Falls was stopped on Highway 32.<\/p>\n
The traffic stop occurred south of Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n
Hicks was cited for misdemeanor driving after revocation.<\/p>\n
A citation is an allegation and does not represent a finding of guilt.<\/p>\n
Theft Reports Remain Under Investigation<\/h2>\n
The sheriff’s office received a theft report during the evening of September 5.<\/p>\n
The reported theft happened at a location in Equality Township.<\/p>\n
Authorities said the case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
Another property dispute was reported during the evening of September 6.<\/p>\n
A caller said a Brooks resident had property belonging to another person.<\/p>\n
The caller reported that the property had not been returned.<\/p>\n
That matter also remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
Blocked Driveway Reported Near School<\/h2>\n
Deputies responded to another call on the afternoon of September 9.<\/p>\n
A vehicle was parked along Champagne Avenue in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was near Lafayette High School and was blocking a driveway.<\/p>\n
A deputy contacted the vehicle’s owner.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was then moved.<\/p>\n
Deputy Recovers Abandoned Bicycle<\/h2>\n
Later that evening, someone reported a bicycle near a Red Lake Falls bike path.<\/p>\n
The bicycle was behind the Auto Value building.<\/p>\n
The caller said it had been there for several days.<\/p>\n
A deputy collected the bicycle for safekeeping.<\/p>\n
Anyone who knows the owner can contact the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n
