Karaleigh Omen<\/strong>, of Fargo, has been charged with robbery. The charge stems from an incident reported on Dec. 20 at Macy\u2019s in Fargo.<\/p>\n

What Court Records Say<\/h2>\n

According to court documents, a Fargo police officer responded to Macy\u2019s just before 9 p.m. after a report of a shoplifter being held in custody.<\/p>\n

Records say Omen is accused of leaving the store with merchandise valued at about $464 without paying.<\/p>\n

After she was confronted by a store loss prevention worker, court documents say she fought with him. The documents say she struck him in the head during the struggle.<\/p>\n

Because force was allegedly used during the incident, the case was charged as robbery instead of a lower-level theft offense.<\/p>\n
