{"id":49563,"date":"2026-09-12T06:23:38","date_gmt":"2026-09-12T11:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/?p=49563"},"modified":"2026-09-07T13:26:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T18:26:10","slug":"walker-hunt-nabors-faces-domestic-assault-charge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/walker-hunt-nabors-faces-domestic-assault-charge\/","title":{"rendered":"Walker: Hunt-Nabors Faces Domestic Assault Charge"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<h2>Walker: Hunt-Nabors Faces Domestic Assault Charge<\/h2>\n<p><strong>WALKER, Minn.<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Rayden Leslie Hunt-Nabors faces a gross misdemeanor domestic assault charge in Cass County.<\/p>\n<p>Hunt-Nabors, 20, is charged in District Court file 11-CR-26-1321.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the alleged assault happened on Sept. 3, 2026, in Walker.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say Hunt-Nabors assaulted a family or household member with whom he shares children.<\/p>\n<h2>Police Respond to Domestic Assault Report<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says Walker police responded to a residence around 7:09 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The woman told investigators Hunt-Nabors came to the home after work and appeared angry.<\/p>\n<p>She said Hunt-Nabors bit her and pulled her hair during the encounter.<\/p>\n<p>The woman repeatedly told him to leave, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say Hunt-Nabors eventually left after she said she would call police.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also alleges Hunt-Nabors threatened to kill the woman several times by phone that evening.<\/p>\n<p>No police officer names are included in this report.<\/p>\n<h2>Injuries Documented<\/h2>\n<p>Police reported seeing a bite mark and bruising on the woman&#8217;s right arm.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also describes red marks on her left arm.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators reported wounds on the knuckles of her left hand.<\/p>\n<p>Those observations are included in the probable-cause statement supporting the charge.<\/p>\n<p>The woman is not identified in this report.<\/p>\n<h2>Prior Domestic Assault Conviction Cited<\/h2>\n<p>Prosecutors charged Hunt-Nabors under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/609.2242\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 609.2242<\/a>, subdivision 2.<\/p>\n<p>That law applies when a domestic assault occurs within ten years of a qualifying prior offense.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint cites a December 2024 domestic assault conviction in Cass County.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors allege that conviction makes the current charge a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota law allows up to 364 days in jail for the charged offense.<\/p>\n<p>A fine of up to $3,000 is also possible.<\/p>\n<p>Those are maximum penalties and do not represent a sentence against Hunt-Nabors.<\/p>\n<h2>Custody and Court Information<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint was filed with an order of detention.<\/p>\n<p>A current public jail roster also lists Hunt-Nabors as booked on Sept. 3, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The roster lists a domestic assault gross misdemeanor subsequent violation.<\/p>\n<p>Current jail information is available through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casscountymn.gov\/1321\/Detention-Center-Jail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cass County Detention Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Public court information is available through the <a href=\"https:\/\/mncourts.gov\/access-case-records\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Judicial Branch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The criminal complaint contains allegations that have not been proven in court.<\/p>\n<p>Hunt-Nabors is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m Adrian Cole reporting for <a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Copyright 2026 TRF News.
