Leonard: Hartman Faced Felony Pickup Theft Charge<\/h2>\n

CLEARWATER COUNTY, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Guenter Allen Hartman was charged with felony motor vehicle theft in a 2017 Clearwater County case.<\/p>\n

Hartman was 38 when the complaint was filed.<\/p>\n

His listed address at the time was in Leonard.<\/p>\n

The case was filed as 15-CR-17-143 in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n

The complaint alleged the offense occurred on April 12, 2017.<\/p>\n

Pickup Reported Taken Without Permission<\/h2>\n

The complaint says a woman reported her 2001 Ford F-150 missing two days later.<\/p>\n

She told investigators that Hartman had taken the pickup without her permission.<\/p>\n

Clearwater County investigators contacted tribal police while trying to locate the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The truck was not immediately found, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Investigators learned on April 18 that the pickup had been recovered in Cass Lake.<\/p>\n

The complaint says two tires were missing when the truck was found.<\/p>\n

Two other tires were reportedly flat.<\/p>\n

The court document does not provide an estimated repair cost.<\/p>\n

Felony Vehicle Theft Charge<\/h2>\n

Prosecutors charged Hartman under Minnesota Statute 609.52<\/a>.<\/p>\n
