Crookston: Crawford Accused of Violent Threats<\/h2>\n

CROOKSTON, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Andracadrice Troy Crawford faces two criminal charges following an alleged confrontation in Crookston.<\/p>\n

Crawford, 54, is charged in Polk County District Court.<\/p>\n

The case is filed as 60-CR-26-1246.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Crawford with felony threats of violence and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

The alleged incident happened Aug. 23, 2026.<\/p>\n

Worker Reports Threats in Crookston<\/h2>\n

The complaint says a worker was completing concrete work on Eickhof Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The worker reported hearing yelling from a nearby residence.<\/p>\n

He then noticed a man driving slowly past him in a gray Jeep.<\/p>\n

The same vehicle allegedly passed the worker again.<\/p>\n

About 15 to 20 minutes later, the man allegedly approached the worker.<\/p>\n

The complaint identifies that man as Crawford.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say Crawford accused the worker of having a relationship with his wife.<\/p>\n

The worker told police he did not know Crawford or his wife.<\/p>\n

Crawford allegedly threatened to beat the worker.<\/p>\n

He also allegedly said he had been watching and following him.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Crawford warned the worker to watch his back.<\/p>\n

The worker reportedly became afraid for his safety.<\/p>\n

He also expressed concern about leaving work equipment at the property.<\/p>\n

Felony Threats Charge Filed<\/h2>\n

Count One charges Crawford with threats of violence.<\/p>\n

The charge falls under Minnesota Statute 609.713<\/a>, subdivision 1.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege Crawford threatened a crime of violence against the worker.<\/p>\n

They also allege the statements caused terror or created that risk.<\/p>\n

A conviction can carry up to five years in prison.<\/p>\n

The statute also allows a fine of up to $10,000.<\/p>\n

Those are maximum penalties and do not represent a sentence against Crawford.<\/p>\n

The complaint says police later approached Crawford’s residence.<\/p>\n

Crawford allegedly went inside and locked the door.<\/p>\n

Police told Crawford he was not free to leave.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Crawford refused repeated requests to come outside.<\/p>\n

He allegedly became loud and confrontational during the encounter.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors also charged Crawford with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

The count cites Minnesota Statute 609.72<\/a>, subdivision 1(3).<\/p>\n

The complaint lists a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail.<\/p>\n

It also lists a possible fine of up to $1,000.<\/p>\n
