Olmsted County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Kasson man was hurt in a snowmobile crash on Highway 14 in Kalmar Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n

The crash was reported at 2:23 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. It happened on the westbound Highway 14 near 280th Avenue. The road condition was listed as snow and ice.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol report says a snowmobile was traveling westbound on Highway 14 near 280th Avenue. The snowmobile crashed in Kalmar Township.<\/p>\n

The driver was identified as Phillip Carl Madsen, 34, of Kasson. He was riding a 2001 Arctic Cat snowmobile, the report says.<\/p>\n

The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s for care.<\/p>\n
