Mower County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 One person was hurt in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 56 in Waltham Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at 4:41 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025. It occurred on Highway 56 near milepost 38. Road conditions were listed as snow and ice.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol report says three vehicles were traveling southbound on Highway 56. A 2023 Ford F-250 was in front. A 2012 Chevrolet Sonic was behind the Ford. A 2003 Honda CR-V was behind the Chevrolet.<\/p>\n

Officials say the vehicles collided near milepost 38. The report does not say what caused the first impact. It also does not list whether speed or following distance was a factor.<\/p>\n

Alcohol was listed as not involved for the drivers in the report. Seat belts were listed as in use.<\/p>\n

The Ford F-250 driver was identified as Connor Henry Goodwin, 32, of Austin. The report lists no injuries. He was not taken to a hospital.<\/p>\n

The Honda CR-V driver was identified as Tarek Eugene Heimerman, 54, of Austin. The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Austin Hospital. The report lists airbag deployment in the Honda.<\/p>\n
