Kandiyohi County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Four people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 23 in Willmar Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at 3:10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025. It was on Minnesota Highway 23 at milepost 143. The road was dry at the time.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The State Patrol says a Freightliner semi was traveling east on Highway 23. Two Dodge Grand Caravans and a Chevrolet Equinox were traveling west. The vehicles collided near milepost 143.<\/p>\n

Investigators have not released more details on how the crash started. They also have not said if speed was a factor. The report lists no alcohol involvement for any driver.<\/p>\n

Drivers and injuries<\/h2>\n

The semi driver was identified as Carl Nolan Rains, 66, of Little Falls. He was not hurt. He was not taken to a hospital.<\/p>\n

One minivan driver was Christopher Peter Padin, 47, of Clara City. The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Willmar Hospital.<\/p>\n

A passenger in that vehicle was Roxanne Lozano, 47, of Clara City. The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. She was also taken to Willmar Hospital.<\/p>\n

The other minivan driver was Sherri Renae Olson, 63, of Raymond. The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Willmar Hospital.<\/p>\n

The Equinox driver was Hal Fredrick Miller, 77, of Raymond. The report lists non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Willmar Hospital.<\/p>\n

Response and updates<\/h2>\n

Raymond Ambulance, CentraCare Ambulance, and Willmar Fire assisted at the scene. Airbags deployed in the three westbound vehicles, according to the report.<\/p>\n
