Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Prosecutors have filed multiple charges in Beltrami County District Court following a reported vehicle pursuit and arrest near Bemidji, according to court records in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n

The complaint names Ethan William Clark<\/strong>, born Jan. 10, 2002, of Bemidji, Minnesota<\/strong>, as the defendant.<\/p>\n

Felony and Gross Misdemeanor Charges<\/h2>\n

Clark is charged with one felony count of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle<\/strong>, court records say.<\/p>\n

He also faces a felony count of terroristic threats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, prosecutors charged Clark with a gross misdemeanor count of obstructing legal process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What Court Records Say Happened<\/h2>\n

Court records say deputies responded at about 8:15 p.m.<\/strong> on Dec. 5, 2025<\/strong>, to the intersection of Highway 1 NE and Willow Creek Road NE<\/strong> in Beltrami County.<\/p>\n

The call involved a gray Chevrolet Equinox<\/strong> with a driver reportedly slumped over the steering wheel.<\/p>\n

Dispatch informed deputies that the vehicle was wanted in connection with an earlier felony fleeing case.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, deputies found the vehicle stopped and the driver appearing asleep or unconscious.<\/p>\n

Records say the driver woke up and attempted to flee in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The filing states deputies activated emergency lights and sirens, but the vehicle did not stop.<\/p>\n

Pursuit and Arrest<\/h2>\n

Court records say the vehicle traveled toward the Red Lake Nation.<\/p>\n

The complaint says a deer ran into the roadway, causing a crash.<\/p>\n

After the crash, records say Clark tried to run away on foot.<\/p>\n

Deputies caught Clark and took him into custody, according to the filing.<\/p>\n

The complaint states Clark was evaluated by ambulance staff and cleared.<\/p>\n

Records say Clark then attempted to flee again and struggled with a deputy before being restrained.<\/p>\n
