Shevlin Man Faces Felony Fleeing Charge<\/h2>\n

Shevlin<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Shevlin man faces a felony charge after an alleged vehicle pursuit in Clearwater County.<\/p>\n

Brandon Alfred Nattrass is charged with fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say the July 6, 2026, incident involved speeds reaching 77 mph on a gravel road.<\/p>\n

The charge carries up to three years in prison and a possible $5,000 fine.<\/p>\n

Deputy Searches For Black Monte Carlo<\/h2>\n

A Clearwater County deputy received a report around 9:32 p.m. that Nattrass was driving in Shevlin.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was described as a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

The deputy was also aware that Nattrass had a canceled driver’s license.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say the deputy had encountered Nattrass and the same vehicle during an earlier June incident.<\/p>\n

Updates later placed the Monte Carlo near a local bar and the Shevlin fire department.<\/p>\n

The deputy searched Shevlin but did not immediately locate the vehicle.<\/p>\n

He then traveled north on 253rd Avenue while continuing the search.<\/p>\n

Vehicle Allegedly Reaches 77 MPH<\/h2>\n

At about 9:57 p.m., the deputy spotted a black Monte Carlo near 380th Street.<\/p>\n

The complaint says a male driver was alone inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The Monte Carlo allegedly accelerated north on 253rd Avenue as the deputy approached.<\/p>\n

Radar showed the vehicle traveling 77 mph in a 55 mph zone, prosecutors allege.<\/p>\n

The deputy activated emergency lights and began following the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The Monte Carlo continued at a high speed before disappearing around curves in the road.<\/p>\n

The deputy later followed tire tracks along several roads but did not locate the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Vehicle Sale Linked To Nattrass<\/h2>\n

The next day, investigators contacted the Monte Carlo’s registered owner.<\/p>\n

The owner said he had previously sold the vehicle through Facebook Marketplace.<\/p>\n

He identified the buyer as a man named Brandon with the last name Nattrass.<\/p>\n

The complaint also cites prior fleeing convictions involving Nattrass.<\/p>\n

It also references a separate pending driving-after-cancellation case from June 2026.<\/p>\n

That pending case remains an allegation unless proven in court.<\/p>\n

The current fleeing case is filed as Clearwater County court file 15-CR-26-254.<\/p>\n
