Bemidji Woman Faces 3 Charges After Home Damage<\/h2>\n

Bemidji<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Bemidji woman faces three charges following an alleged late-night incident at a Beltrami County residence.<\/p>\n

Jessica Lynn Redeagle, 39, is charged with felony first-degree property damage.<\/p>\n

She also faces gross misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from an incident reported shortly before midnight on July 26, 2026.<\/p>\n

Window Allegedly Broken At Residence<\/h2>\n

Beltrami County deputies responded after a caller reported someone trying to enter a home through a window.<\/p>\n

The caller identified the person as Redeagle, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say Redeagle arrived at the residence in a red Dodge Caravan.<\/p>\n

She allegedly broke a window and attempted to damage vehicles at the property.<\/p>\n

Investigators were told Redeagle left before law enforcement arrived.<\/p>\n

Officers examining the residence reported additional damage inside the home.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Redeagle allegedly reached through the broken window and knocked over a hutch.<\/p>\n

She was also accused of nearly breaking through the home’s front door.<\/p>\n

The felony property damage charge alleges the damage reduced the property’s value by more than $1,000.<\/p>\n

Infant Found Inside Van<\/h2>\n

Law enforcement later spotted a red Dodge van traveling on Mission Road.<\/p>\n

The complaint describes the vehicle as traveling at a high rate of speed.<\/p>\n

An officer stopped the van and identified Redeagle as the driver.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say Redeagle initially failed to follow commands during the stop.<\/p>\n

Officers eventually detained her while confirming the circumstances at the residence.<\/p>\n

An infant child was found inside the vehicle with Redeagle.<\/p>\n

No other occupants were inside, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

The child endangerment count alleges Redeagle placed the infant in a situation likely to cause substantial harm.<\/p>\n

Redeagle Allegedly Admits Breaking Window<\/h2>\n

Redeagle was taken to the Beltrami County Jail following her arrest.<\/p>\n

After being advised of her rights, she allegedly spoke with investigators.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Redeagle admitted going to the residence intending to scare the caller.<\/p>\n

She also allegedly admitted punching out a window at the home.<\/p>\n

Redeagle faces up to five years in prison on the felony property damage charge.<\/p>\n

That charge also carries a possible $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n
