Dilworth Walmart Case Brings Stolen Dog, Card Charges<\/h2>\n

Haylee Marie Starla Martin, 19, is charged in Clay County District Court.<\/p>\n

The allegations stem from events on April 12, 2026.<\/p>\n

According to the criminal complaint, Martin had been staying at a Fargo residence.<\/p>\n

The homeowners later reported that a credit card and their Pomsky dog were missing.<\/p>\n

The complaint values the dog at approximately $2,000.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege Martin had possession of the dog after it was taken from the residence.<\/p>\n

The owners also reported unauthorized purchases on the missing credit card.<\/p>\n

Investigators received the fraud report several days after the alleged incident.<\/p>\n

Walmart Purchases Totaled $92.40<\/h2>\n

Police learned that several transactions occurred at the Walmart store in Dilworth.<\/p>\n

They identified Martin as the person shown in the footage, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Martin faces felony receiving stolen property involving the dog.<\/p>\n

The charge carries up to five years in prison.<\/p>\n

It also carries a possible fine of up to $10,000.<\/p>\n

The financial transaction card fraud charge carries up to 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

That count also carries a possible fine of up to $3,000.<\/p>\n
