Bemidji Man Charged in Alleged Stool Assault<\/h2>\n

BEMIDJI, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 Edward Allen Davis faces a felony domestic assault charge after an alleged July 19 incident in Bemidji.<\/p>\n

The complaint says police responded to a residence on Mississippi Avenue Northwest around 5:27 p.m.<\/p>\n

Investigators learned Davis had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, identified in court records as K.G.<\/p>\n

Stool Allegedly Thrown During Assault<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Davis pushed K.G. to the ground during the incident.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors also allege Davis threw a stool at her.<\/p>\n

The stool reportedly struck K.G. and caused a visible injury to her leg.<\/p>\n

A witness saw part of the alleged assault, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Davis is charged with felony domestic assault in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege the assault involved causing fear of immediate bodily harm or death.<\/p>\n
