Red Lake Man Charged After 100 MPH Police Chase<\/h2>\n

Red Lake<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Kyle James Neadeau faces a felony charge after a high-speed pursuit in Beltrami County.<\/p>\n

The charge stems from an incident reported during the early morning of June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors accuse Neadeau of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

The allegations are detailed in a Beltrami County District Court complaint.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Turns Into High-Speed Pursuit<\/h2>\n

The complaint says a deputy was patrolling near Highway 89 and Lumberjack Road Northwest.<\/p>\n

The deputy noticed a vehicle with an unusually loud exhaust at about 12:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

Authorities say the deputy activated emergency lights and attempted a traffic stop.<\/p>\n

The driver allegedly accelerated away instead of stopping.<\/p>\n

The deputy then activated the squad car’s siren, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

The vehicle allegedly reached speeds near 100 mph during the pursuit.<\/p>\n

The chase continued for about 13 miles before entering the Red Lake Indian Reservation.<\/p>\n

During the pursuit, a female passenger allegedly leaned from a passenger window.<\/p>\n

The complaint says she twice aimed a flashlight toward the pursuing deputy.<\/p>\n

Two People Found Near Vehicle<\/h2>\n

The fleeing vehicle eventually entered an open field, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Authorities later found two adults hiding in the field near the vehicle.<\/p>\n

They were identified as Kyle James Neadeau and Cherie Kay Kingbird.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Neadeau had the vehicle’s keys when he was located.<\/p>\n

The complaint also describes a statement Neadeau allegedly made after the pursuit.<\/p>\n

Neadeau allegedly said he swallowed about five grams of methamphetamine during the chase.<\/p>\n

The complaint stated Neadeau and Kingbird were then being held in Red Lake.<\/p>\n
