Detroit Lakes Woman Charged in Burglary Case<\/h2>\n

Detroit Lakes<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Matraccia Sky Lague, 29, faces burglary and assault charges after a June incident.<\/p>\n

Lague, of Detroit Lakes, was charged in Becker County District Court.<\/p>\n

She faces felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault charges.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from an alleged domestic incident on June 12.<\/p>\n

Police Respond To Minnesota Avenue<\/h2>\n

Detroit Lakes police responded to a reported disturbance on Minnesota Avenue.<\/p>\n

According to court records, officers arrived as Lague allegedly followed a woman outside.<\/p>\n

An officer allegedly saw Lague throw the woman to the ground.<\/p>\n

Police then arrested Lague at the scene, according to court records.<\/p>\n

After receiving a Miranda warning, Lague spoke with investigators.<\/p>\n

She allegedly said she confronted the woman over a personal relationship dispute.<\/p>\n

The dispute involved the father of Lague’s children, according to the court allegations.<\/p>\n

Woman Describes Alleged Entry<\/h2>\n

The woman told police she had been sleeping before hearing banging at her front door.<\/p>\n

She said she answered the door and was allegedly punched several times by Lague.<\/p>\n

Lague then left the residence, according to the woman’s account in court records.<\/p>\n

The woman locked the door and called 911.<\/p>\n

Investigators allege Lague then forced her way back inside the residence.<\/p>\n

The woman ran outside before officers allegedly witnessed the confrontation continue.<\/p>\n

Lague Released Pending Court Hearing<\/h2>\n

Lague was released while the case remains pending.<\/p>\n

Her release conditions include having no contact with the woman.<\/p>\n

She must also stay away from the woman’s residence.<\/p>\n

Other conditions prohibit alcohol and controlled substance use.<\/p>\n

Lague must submit to random testing and take part in pretrial supervision.<\/p>\n

An omnibus hearing is scheduled for Aug. 17 before District Judge Michael D. Fritz.<\/p>\n
