Walker Woman Charged With Felony Jail Assault<\/h2>\n

Walker<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Hackensack woman faces a felony assault charge after an arrest in Walker.<\/p>\n

Sage Josephine Jackson, 21, is charged in Cass County District Court. The case stems from events on July 14, 2026.<\/p>\n

Jackson faces one felony count of fourth-degree assault involving a correctional employee. She also faces one misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.<\/p>\n

Incident Reported At Walker City Park<\/h2>\n

According to the criminal complaint, police were called to Walker City Park around 8:18 p.m.<\/p>\n

A caller reported an intoxicated woman who was disturbing people at the park. Jackson was later identified as that woman.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Jackson repeatedly approached children who were swimming. She allegedly tried to get them onto her float.<\/p>\n

Her swimsuit also reportedly slipped down and exposed her breasts. The reporting person told police the behavior caused concern.<\/p>\n

An officer contacted Jackson and believed she was highly intoxicated, according to the complaint. She reportedly struggled to answer basic questions.<\/p>\n

Police told Jackson she was too intoxicated to drive. The complaint says she then attempted to leave the area.<\/p>\n

Police detained Jackson after she allegedly tried to pull away. She reportedly attempted to run but fell to the ground.<\/p>\n

Jackson was then arrested and taken to jail.<\/p>\n

Felony Charge Filed After Jail Incident<\/h2>\n

The complaint says jail staff began the booking process after Jackson arrived.<\/p>\n

While inside a holding cell, Jackson allegedly punched a correctional employee in the right arm.<\/p>\n

Investigators documented visible bruising on the employee’s arm after the alleged assault.<\/p>\n

The felony charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 609.2231<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A conviction on that count can carry up to two years in prison. It can also carry a fine of up to $4,000.<\/p>\n

The disorderly conduct charge is filed under Minnesota Statute 609.72<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That misdemeanor carries a maximum sentence of 90 days in jail or a $1,000 fine.<\/p>\n
