Fargo Crash Kills Mahnomen Motorcyclist<\/h2>\n

FARGO<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Mahnomen motorcyclist died after a four-vehicle crash in Fargo on Thursday, July 30.<\/p>\n

Motorcyclist Identified<\/h2>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol<\/a> identified the rider as Ronald Huebner, 60, of Mahnomen, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 3:21 p.m. at Main Avenue and South University Drive.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Huebner was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson west on Main Avenue.<\/p>\n

The patrol said he entered the intersection against a red light.<\/p>\n

His motorcycle struck the rear of a 2023 Subaru Ascent traveling south through the intersection.<\/p>\n

Rider Thrown From Motorcycle<\/h2>\n

The impact threw Huebner from the motorcycle.<\/p>\n

A southbound 2023 Ford F-150 then struck him in the intersection.<\/p>\n

The motorcycle continued moving and hit a 2006 Ford Fusion stopped behind the pickup.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews transported Huebner to Sanford Medical Center.<\/p>\n

He later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n

The patrol said Huebner was wearing a helmet when the crash happened.<\/p>\n

Other Drivers Uninjured<\/h2>\n

No other drivers or passengers reported injuries.<\/p>\n

Kirsten Barton, 53, of Fargo, was driving the Subaru.<\/p>\n

Her passenger was Laura Barton, 67, of Vacaville, California.<\/p>\n

Both women were wearing seat belts, according to investigators.<\/p>\n

Dylan Kangas, 23, of Fargo, was driving the Ford F-150.<\/p>\n

Sarah Delgado, 20, of Fargo, was driving the Ford Fusion.<\/p>\n

Neither driver was injured.<\/p>\n

Wet Roads Reported<\/h2>\n

Light rain left the roadway wet during the crash.<\/p>\n

Fargo police, firefighters, and Sanford Ambulance crews helped at the scene.<\/p>\n

Traffic was diverted while responders treated Huebner and cleared the damaged vehicles.<\/p>\n

The intersection reopened after emergency crews completed their work.<\/p>\n

Investigators continue reviewing the sequence of impacts and other evidence.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
