James Robert Ness, 56, of Newfolden, was sentenced for fourth-degree DWI involving a controlled substance. He was fined $590. A 90-day jail term was stayed for two years. He received two years of supervised probation.<\/p>\n
Ness must complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days. He must also complete recommended treatment and aftercare.<\/p>\n
A fifth-degree controlled substance felony received a four-year stay of imposition. The court cited Minnesota Statute 152.18<\/a> and Minnesota Statute 609.135<\/a>. Ness received credit for time served.<\/p>\n Two gross misdemeanor charges were dismissed. They involved controlled substance possession and contraband in a correctional facility.<\/p>\n Erin Christine Romuld, 31, of Grand Forks, had a third-degree DWI test-refusal charge dismissed.<\/p>\n Bryce Jordan Drew, 23, of Thief River Falls, was sentenced for fourth-degree DWI. His 90-day jail term was stayed for two years. He received two years of probation and must complete an assessment.<\/p>\n Damon Christopher Stanton, 42, of Thief River Falls, was sentenced for third-degree DWI. He was fined $1,690. A 364-day jail term was stayed for two years.<\/p>\n Stanton received two years of probation and must complete an assessment. A disorderly conduct charge received a stay of adjudication. He must pay $23.52 in restitution. A theft-of-services charge was dismissed.<\/p>\n Tiffany Marie Lofberg, 35, had a disorderly conduct charge dismissed. Joann Louise Nelson, 68, had a public nuisance charge dismissed.<\/p>\n Jonathan Wayne Beise, 33, of Bemidji, was sentenced for trespassing. He was fined $210 and ordered to pay $50 restitution.<\/p>\n Beise received a stayed 10-day jail term and one year of probation. He may not enter Old Bostwicks or the alley behind it. A theft-of-services charge was dismissed.<\/p>\n Quinten Thomas Snow, 27, of Crookston, was fined $285 for driving after suspension. He was also fined $200 in an insurance-related case.<\/p>\n Makenzie May Wells, 19, of Thief River Falls, was fined $135 for underage consumption.<\/p>\n Uriah Felix Wirta, 21, was fined $135 after failing to report damaged property. The court reserved the right to order restitution.<\/p>\n Mark Raymond Williquette, 62, of Thief River Falls, was sentenced for domestic assault. He was fined $210 and received 90 days in jail.<\/p>\n Williquette received credit for two days served. Work release and Sentence to Serve privileges may apply. He must follow a domestic abuse no-contact order.<\/p>\n Jaydce Rose-Marie May, 18, of Red Lake, received fines totaling $435. The cases involved insurance, a license violation, and failure to stop.<\/p>\n State Patrol cases included two hands-free law<\/a> violations. Taylor Kay Lott and Eric Robert Bauman were each fined $135.<\/p>\n John Russell Hulst was fined $110 for not wearing a seat belt. Berzain Mendez-Montes and Alexander Todd Brua received speeding fines.<\/p>\n Michael Duane Tolpingrud was fined $185 for driving without a license.<\/p>\n Greyson Jon Ecker, 18, of Mentor, received a stay of adjudication in a turkey-tag case. He was fined $100 and placed on probation for 180 days.<\/p>\n Zander Kyle Luckow, 18, of Crookston, received 180 days of probation.
