According to the criminal complaint, a vehicle was observed traveling slowly in a 45 mph zone near University Avenue.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was reportedly moving between 10 and 15 mph and crossed lane markings several times.<\/p>\n
Authorities said the driver was identified as Candace Watson. She reportedly told officials she was lost and trying to drive home to Mahnomen.<\/p>\n
The complaint states Watson had been at a casino in Thief River Falls and said her GPS was not working.<\/p>\n
Officials reported signs of possible impairment, including bloodshot eyes, watery eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcohol.<\/p>\n

The complaint states Watson completed several field sobriety tests during the investigation.<\/p>\n
Authorities reported concerns with balance, following instructions, and coordination during the tests.<\/p>\n
A preliminary breath test reportedly showed a blood alcohol concentration of .147.<\/p>\n
After being taken into custody, Watson agreed to an official breath test.<\/p>\n
