Underwood DWI Case Alleges .19 Alcohol Level<\/h2>\n

Underwood<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Coon Rapids man faces two gross misdemeanor DWI charges in Otter Tail County.<\/p>\n

Logan Nathaniel Jurek, 25, is charged with two counts of second-degree driving while impaired.<\/p>\n

The charges include driving under the influence of alcohol. They also include having an alcohol level above the legal limit.<\/p>\n

The allegations are contained in a criminal complaint filed in Minnesota\u2019s Seventh Judicial District Court.<\/p>\n

Dangerous Driving Reports<\/h2>\n

The reported incident happened during the afternoon of June 18, 2026.<\/p>\n

A witness reported seeing a white SUV traveling west on Highway 210 near Underwood.<\/p>\n

The SUV allegedly entered another traffic lane and nearly struck an approaching vehicle.<\/p>\n

Dispatchers soon received another complaint involving a vehicle with a similar description.<\/p>\n

That caller reported the SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and nearly caused several crashes.<\/p>\n

The driver later turned north onto 265th Avenue, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Vehicle Found in Road<\/h2>\n

Authorities located a white hatchback SUV stopped in the roadway.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was running, while a passenger door and the rear hatch were open.<\/p>\n

Jurek was found near the passenger side and admitted driving the vehicle, the complaint states.<\/p>\n

The complaint alleges Jurek smelled strongly of alcohol.<\/p>\n

It also describes slurred speech, poor balance, and bloodshot, watery eyes.<\/p>\n

Jurek allegedly said he consumed several alcoholic drinks while at work.<\/p>\n

He reportedly refused roadside balance tests and a preliminary breath test.<\/p>\n

Alcohol Test and Charges<\/h2>\n

Jurek was arrested and taken to the Otter Tail County Detention Facility.<\/p>\n

After speaking with an attorney, he agreed to an evidentiary breath test.<\/p>\n

The test allegedly showed an alcohol concentration of .19 at about 5:53 p.m.<\/p>\n

Minnesota\u2019s standard driving limit is .08 for most adult drivers.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists a previous DWI conviction from 2023 as an aggravating factor.<\/p>\n

Each current charge carries up to 364 days in jail and a $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n
