The DWI count is a gross misdemeanor under Minnesota Statute 169A.20<\/a>.<\/p>\n The revoked-license count is a misdemeanor under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to the criminal complaint, the traffic stop happened around 11:31 p.m. on June 20, 2026.<\/p>\n Police saw a truck traveling on Irvine Avenue in Bemidji.<\/p>\n A records check showed the registered owner\u2019s driving privileges were revoked.<\/p>\n Police stopped the truck near 18th Street and Irvine Avenue.<\/p>\n The complaint states the truck slowed but continued moving for a short distance.<\/p>\n It stopped after the patrol vehicle\u2019s horn was used.<\/p>\n Grayhawk was identified as the driver and registered owner, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n Police reported smelling alcohol coming from the vehicle.<\/p>\n The complaint also says Grayhawk had trouble focusing on more than one task.<\/p>\n She reportedly told police she had consumed a few drinks.<\/p>\n Grayhawk completed several roadside sobriety tests.<\/p>\n The complaint alleges she did not perform the tests successfully.<\/p>\n A preliminary breath test reportedly showed an alcohol concentration of 0.21.<\/p>\n She was arrested and taken to the Beltrami County Jail.<\/p>\n Police later read Grayhawk the state\u2019s breath-test advisory.<\/p>\n She asked to speak with an attorney but could not reach one.<\/p>\n She later spoke with a family member, the complaint states.<\/p>\n Grayhawk then agreed to provide a breath sample.<\/p>\n The official breath test reported a result of 0.22 at 12:33 a.m.<\/p>\n Court records cited in the complaint show a previous third-degree DWI conviction.<\/p>\n That conviction was entered on June 12, 2026.<\/p>\n The earlier case also involved a reported breath-test result of 0.22.<\/p>\n The complaint states Grayhawk\u2019s license was revoked on April 14, 2026.<\/p>\n It remained revoked when the June 20 traffic stop occurred.<\/p>\n The gross-misdemeanor charge carries up to 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n It also carries a possible fine of up to $3,000.<\/p>\n The misdemeanor charge carries up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.<\/p>\n A criminal charge is an accusation.
