Callaway Man Charged After Traffic Stop<\/h2>\n

Callaway, Minnesota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Callaway traffic stop has led to criminal charges against David Murray Bowen, 59, of Eagan.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint filed in Becker County District Court, Bowen is facing charges related to alleged driving violations in Callaway.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Leads To Charges<\/h2>\n

The complaint states the incident happened on May 24, 2026, in the city of Callaway.<\/p>\n

Authorities said a vehicle was observed traveling north on Main Avenue near Dakota Street.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was allegedly traveling above the posted speed limit. The complaint also states the vehicle had heavily tinted windows.<\/p>\n

The driver was identified as David Murray Bowen.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, Bowen was traveling 41 miles per hour in a posted 30-mile-per-hour zone.<\/p>\n

The complaint states Bowen was also unable to provide proof of active vehicle insurance when requested.<\/p>\n

Bowen is charged with gross misdemeanor failure to provide proof of insurance.<\/p>\n
