Jordan Lee Lussier, 30, of 14575 Beaver Road, Red Lake, is charged with operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher within two hours of driving.<\/p>\n
The charge was filed in Beltrami County District Court. Court records show the offense is alleged to have happened on June 28, 2026.<\/p>\n
Vehicle Found Along Highway 1<\/h2>\n
According to the criminal complaint, authorities were called after a report of two unresponsive people inside a vehicle parked along the shoulder of Highway 1 near mile marker 137.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was described as a black Chevrolet Impala that was partially in the roadway.<\/p>\n
Investigators said Lussier was found in the front passenger seat. The complaint states he showed signs of possible impairment.<\/p>\n
The signs included confusion, slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and slow movements.<\/p>\n
The complaint states a strong odor of alcohol was detected coming from the vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, Lussier initially said he did not know who had driven the vehicle.<\/p>\n
The complaint states he later admitted he had driven the vehicle to its location.<\/p>\n
Officials said Lussier reported drinking alcohol, including beer and vodka, before the incident.<\/p>\n
During field sobriety testing, the complaint states Lussier had trouble completing several tasks.<\/p>\n
The documents state he stumbled during the walk-and-turn test. He also had difficulty maintaining balance during the one-leg stand test.<\/p>\n
A preliminary breath test reportedly showed a result of 0.213.<\/p>\n
After arrest, court documents state Lussier agreed to additional breath testing.<\/p>\n
The complaint states two valid breath samples were collected. The reported alcohol concentration was 0.18.<\/p>\n
