According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement attempted to stop a vehicle in Cass Lake. The driver allegedly failed to stop, leading to a high-speed pursuit.<\/p>\n
Authorities said the vehicle eventually stopped, and the driver ran from the vehicle.<\/p>\n
The complaint states Brown was sitting in the front passenger seat during the pursuit. Investigators said Brown appeared to be hiding in the seat before the chase began.<\/p>\n
Officials said Brown also left the vehicle and ran away on foot after the stop.<\/p>\n

Later that evening, authorities located Brown in Walker, Minnesota.<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, officers recognized Brown as a passenger in another vehicle and stopped the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Brown was arrested based on information from the earlier fleeing incident.<\/p>\n
During a search after the arrest, authorities say they found a small plastic bag in Brown\u2019s pocket.<\/p>\n
The complaint states that the substance inside tested positive for methamphetamine.<\/p>\n
The substance and packaging weighed about 1.6 grams, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
The complaint also states Brown had multiple cuts on both lower legs when he was arrested.<\/p>\n
Previous Drug Convictions Listed<\/h2>\n
Court records show Brown has previous fifth-degree controlled substance convictions in Cass County.<\/p>\n
Those convictions include cases filed in 2021 and 2023.<\/p>\n
Brown was also reportedly under supervision for a gross misdemeanor DWI case at the time of the new charges.<\/p>\n
