Grant County Crash on I-94 Leaves Fatality<\/h2>\n

Grant County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A fatal three-vehicle crash happened Sunday afternoon on Interstate 94 in Erdahl Township.<\/p>\n

The crash was reported at about 3:57 p.m. on July 19, 2026. It happened near milepost 80 on eastbound Interstate 94.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported that three vehicles were involved in the collision. The crash involved a 2016 Ford Fusion, a 2022 Tesla Model Y, and a 2025 Toyota Crown Signia.<\/p>\n

Crash Involved Three Vehicles<\/h2>\n

The investigation found that the Tesla Model Y and Toyota Crown Signia were traveling eastbound on Interstate 94.<\/p>\n

The Ford Fusion was traveling westbound when the Tesla and Ford collided.<\/p>\n

After the first crash, the Toyota struck vehicles involved in the collision.<\/p>\n

The roadway was dry at the time of the crash. No information was released about weather conditions affecting travel.<\/p>\n

The crash was handled with assistance from several emergency agencies. Responding agencies included the Grant County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Ashby Fire and Ambulance, Evansville Fire Department, North Memorial EMS, and Lifelink.<\/p>\n

Vehicles and Occupants<\/h2>\n

The Ford Fusion had airbag deployment during the crash. The driver was a 24-year-old man from Jamestown, North Dakota.<\/p>\n

The Tesla Model Y also had airbag deployment. The driver was a 73-year-old man from Woodbury, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

A 65-year-old woman from Woodbury was listed as a passenger in the Tesla.<\/p>\n

The Toyota Crown Signia did not have airbag deployment. The driver was a 63-year-old woman from Mandan, North Dakota.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the names of those involved will be released after notification procedures are completed.<\/p>\n

Investigation Continues<\/h2>\n

The crash remains under investigation. Officials are expected to release additional information after families are notified.<\/p>\n

Drivers are reminded to use caution on Interstate 94 and remain alert around crash scenes.<\/p>\n
