Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest<\/h2>\n

According to a criminal complaint filed in Beltrami County District Court, Robert Shane Langford, 42, of Blackduck, is charged with driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

The charge stems from an incident reported on May 29, 2026, in Beltrami County.<\/p>\n

Court documents state that a black Dodge truck was stopped on Highway 72. The vehicle reportedly did not have license plates.<\/p>\n

During the traffic stop, the driver identified himself as Robert Shane Langford.<\/p>\n

Authorities say Langford told investigators that Crow Wing County law enforcement had taken the vehicle plates.<\/p>\n

The complaint states that Langford said the plates were removed because he was driving after his license had been canceled.<\/p>\n

The charge against Langford is a gross misdemeanor under Minnesota Statute 171.24.5.<\/p>\n
