Parkers Prairie DWI Case Cites 0.23 BAC<\/h2>\n

OTTER TAIL COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A St. Cloud man faces two DWI charges after an incident near Parkers Prairie.<\/p>\n

Alexander Michael Bui, 32, was charged in Otter Tail County District Court. Both charges are gross misdemeanors.<\/p>\n

The charges include third-degree DWI for allegedly operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n

He also faces third-degree DWI for an alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.<\/p>\n

An officer arrived and found a man asleep in the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n

The vehicle\u2019s radio was playing at a high volume, the complaint states.<\/p>\n

The officer reportedly yelled and shook the man\u2019s arm before he awoke.<\/p>\n

Bui allegedly had red and glassy eyes after waking. Authorities also reported smelling an alcoholic drink.<\/p>\n

Breath Test Result Alleged<\/h2>\n

Bui allegedly told the officer that he had consumed alcohol earlier that morning.<\/p>\n

He then completed field sobriety testing, according to the court filing.<\/p>\n

The complaint says those tests produced further signs of possible impairment.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrested Bui and transported him to the Otter Tail County Detention Facility.<\/p>\n

He later completed a breath test after receiving Minnesota\u2019s breath test advisory.<\/p>\n

The test allegedly showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.23 at 7:17 p.m.<\/p>\n

That result is nearly three times Minnesota\u2019s general driving limit of 0.08.<\/p>\n
