Clark is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n<h2>Vehicle Reportedly Clocked Above Speed Limit<\/h2>\n<p>According to the complaint, a deputy was traveling east on 240th Street.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy saw a tan Chevrolet Tahoe traveling west on the same road.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was described as an early 2000s model with White Earth veteran registration.<\/p>\n<p>Radar allegedly showed the Tahoe traveling about 43 mph.<\/p>\n<p>The posted speed limit was 35 mph, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy reportedly recognized Clark as the driver when the vehicles passed.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents state the deputy knew Clark was associated with the Tahoe.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic Stop Leads to Charge<\/h2>\n<p>The deputy turned around and activated the patrol vehicle\u2019s emergency lights.<\/p>\n<p>The Tahoe then pulled over and stopped, the complaint states.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy approached and allegedly found Clark sitting in the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities claim Clark\u2019s driving status was canceled as inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n<p>They also allege Clark knew, or should have known, about the cancellation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/171.24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a> covers driving after suspension, revocation, or cancellation.<\/p>\n<p>Subdivision 5 classifies certain violations as gross misdemeanors.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint lists a maximum possible sentence of 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n<p>It also lists a possible fine of up to $3,000.<\/p>\n<p>Those penalties are maximum limits and do not represent a sentence.<\/p>\n<h2>Case Filed in District Court<\/h2>\n<p>The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n<p>The court file number is 44-CR-26-351.<\/p>\n<p>Readers can review available public case information through <a href=\"https:\/\/mncourts.gov\/access-case-records\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Court Records Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Online court information may change as the case moves forward.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m Adrian Cole, reporting for <a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Copyright 2026 TRF News.
