East Grand Forks Man Faces Assault Felonies<\/h2>\n

East Grand Forks<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A local man faces two felony charges following an alleged domestic assault.<\/p>\n

Logan Felix De La Cruz, 40, has been charged in Polk County District Court.<\/p>\n

He faces third-degree assault and domestic assault by strangulation charges.<\/p>\n

The complaint says police observed a red mark across the woman\u2019s nose.<\/p>\n

They also saw a black eye beginning to form.<\/p>\n

A bruise was visible under her right arm.<\/p>\n

The woman also reported neck pain, blurry vision, and a headache.<\/p>\n

She planned to seek treatment at a hospital for a possible broken nose.<\/p>\n

De La Cruz later acknowledged that the dispute became physical, the complaint states.<\/p>\n

He said they pushed each other.<\/p>\n

When asked about choking, he reportedly said his hands may have been near her neck.<\/p>\n
